The Old Abbey Tap House Website
Website design and development
The Old Abbey Tap House website was created for TOAT Community Pub, a C.I.C. (Community Interest Company), a cultural hub in a pub focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics in Hulme, Manchester.
I designed and developed the entire site, which features twenty-two custom made pages tailored to the hub’s specific needs. Key features include an event management system with multiple event views, user sign-up and login functionality, automated email forms, an Instagram feed on the homepage, a newsletter, and the ability to submit space hire request forms.
The site is fully responsive, ensuring seamless usability across all devices. Furthermore, the website was developed sustainably, following best practices for web sustainability, and the carbon footprint of each page was measured using a web carbon calculator to assess its environmental impact.
